I am Matthew Moore.

Matthew Moore is a cinematographer and production designer who graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television with a concentration in cinematography. His passion for bringing life and depth to characters through set design—and for properly and creatively lighting people of color—has been a driving force behind his work. Matthew is committed to using his skills to offer fresh visual perspectives and further increase representation within the industry.

Matthew’s love for production began in grade school through his involvement with the drama department’s tech team, where he gained hands-on experience with lighting, sound, and set design. His passion deepened after volunteering as a camera operator for his church’s media team, which ultimately inspired his pursuit of a career in film. Since then, he has dedicated himself to refining his craft and expanding his understanding of visual storytelling. Matthew looks forward to using his talents and perspective to make a meaningful impact in the film industry.
